Marie Marzullo-Garnier (cornet à bouquin and cornet à piston), Anaïs Yvoz (mezzo-soprano) and Damien Simon (organ) During the Renaissance, "supporting and imitating the human voice" was the very noble task attributed to the cornet à bouquin. The aim of these 3 musicians is to give, in Romantic music, this same role to the cornet à pistons, which, in alliance with singing, takes on the smooth, supple colors of the voice. This will be made particularly pleasing by playing on historic 19th-century cornets.
