This tour goes through the villages of Avolsheim and Soulz-les-Bains to reach the Bruche's waterway in Wolxheim. The channel's former towpaths have been turned into a cycle lane. In Wolxheim, you will find the great floodgates built by Vauban, as well as an artificial fish ladder, right next to them. Towards Ergersheim, the older wash houses bordering the waterway are reminiscent of a time when they were still in use by local washerwomen. When leaving Molsheim to reach Dachstein, you will find Turckheim Castle and the Bruche Gate, both remnants of the ancient fortified village. The same can be said for Molsheim, former Episcopal city sheltering in its center the Jesuit Church, Our Lady's Chapel and the Chartreuse with its museum.
