In the lovely town of Molsheim, on the Wine Route (15 minutes away from Strasbourg and 30 minutes away from Colmar), the Restaurant La Metzig is ideally located in the historical town centre. Nestled at the foot of the vineyards, this Alsatian restaurant is on the groundfloor of a Renaissance monument.
It has a great contemporary dining room of 80 places. On the menu, the chef proposes mainly Alsatian specialities, but also the dish of the day and of course "à la carte menu". The flamed tarts (tarte flambée) are served only on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
The bar is sometimes open on the afternoon. In July and August, the restaurant is open every day for lunch and diner.
