It's about cinema and, above all, it goes off in all directions. Welcome to this absurd, offbeat conference seemingly straight out of a nonsensical soup or floating on the surface a few British Monty Pythonesque accents.
Stotz talks about films, bad special effects, failed posters, ham-fisted actors, the hilarious dark side of the 7th art and takes us into his unlikely world where the worst often rubs shoulders with the best, but always to the bursts of his laughter... always in V.O. and dolby surround.
Who is Yann Stotz?
Yann Stotz was born in Metz in 1985. From an early age, he had a passion for music hall, song and cinema. From an early age, he frequented local screening rooms and video clubs, where he discovered a passion for the great English and American comedians.
Highly influenced by Monty Python, Mel Brooks and Leslie Nielsen, he began making short parody films on video during his junior high school years. He continued in high school, with a Bac Cinéma Audiovisuel option, and left Metz at the age of 18 to move to Paris, where he began his career in show business. The "Juste Pour Rire" production company signed him for a 5-year contract. In 2006, he took part in the first edition of "Incroyable Talent" on M6.
He then went on tour for a year. He often appears on Patrick Sébastien's Les années bonheur shows, performing humorous visual numbers interspersed with crooner songs. His show is a blend of stand-up and mime, where he mixes singing with English-style nonsense. An artist also to be discovered in duet with Cécile Giroud in "Classe", the show that has been thrilling audiences for years.
