"Lights, from shadow to light Deep darkness, the darkness of history, of everyday life, of one's everyday life. Courage of peoples and prayers springing from the hearts of men and women. So many lights in the night, so many hopes for a new morning. The "Sur Mesures" vocal ensemble, directed by Béatrice ILTISS, is a young women's choir from Alsace. Like a patchwork quilt, Sur Mesures' repertoire blends polyphony like so many colors. Whether calm, rhythmic or even classical, they give pride of place to 20th and 21st century composers such as Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo and others. The choir is based in Schiltigheim. This new program will be accompanied on piano by Fabio GODOI and on percussion by Guillaume RICHTER.
